Logo Questionnaire Welcome to the logo questionnaire! Please ensure that you complete all required fields (marked with a *), otherwise you will not be able to submit your questionnaire. Welcome!*If you’re reading this, it means you’re *almost* ready to begin our logo/branding questionnaire! Branding requires you to form a vision for your brand & communicate that to us so that we can make magic on the design front. In order to get there, though, you must make an effort to creatively collaborate. The questionnaire is not only a requirement to begin your branding, but also the single greatest reference and source of information for your designers! The questions require you to dig deep, consider your answers, and consider how the end product – your logo – will affect how your brand is perceived. Here’s what to expect from after submitting your answers! 1. First, we’re going to take a little time — a day or so — to go over your questionnaire, do some research, and start putting together some ideas for you. This is also the stage that we’ll clear up any questions we have. 2. We’ll put together concepts in writing for you. In short, this is where we’ll write up a paragraph or so for each of the logo proofs that we intend to design for you, based on the information you provide us, and our extensive background knowledge about design. We’ll discuss these concepts with you, request your feedback on the ideas, and ask if you’d like to re-work any of the ideas. Before we begin the actual designs, we’ll need your approval on the concepts in writing. Don’t be shy about providing feedback or feel obligated to approve them. Remember that our relationship with you is collaborative! It’s worth noting that you have the expertise of two designers — for simplicity’s sake, you will be communicating with only one of us to keep things streamlined, though both of us do work together on your designs. 3. Following your approval of the concepts in writing, we’ll get started on the design phase! We take a few days to design the initial proofing, allow for collaboration between designers, and revisit the designs for editing and refining. Once the designs are complete, we’ll send them to you for your feedback. 4. Next, we’ll enter into the feedback & revision stages. You may choose a design right off the bat, or you may opt to revise one or more of the designs. “Revision” means minor changes — a text color change, a font change, moving elements around, or making minor replacements. Revision does not mean scrapping the designs and starting over. We can do this, but it will require an additional charge. Please keep in mind that we draw inspiration from the information you provide us, and also work off of concepts in writing that you approve. If, at any stage prior to the design work starting, you want to make changes — do it then!! 5. Following approval of your finalized logo, we’ll move on to other portions of your package, depending on what you originally purchased. The remainder of the process usually flows very easily once we have a primary logo to work off of as design and brand inspiration. With optimal communication from you, we estimate that your brand could be finished in 2-4 weeks, or even sooner! It does rely on you being available, and replying in a timely manner. We request that you make yourself available as much as possible so that the process is not delayed. If you find that you can simply not spend the time on the logo questionnaire + design process, and are in a time-crunch for a logo, we would be happy to discuss options with you, as we have over 1,000 premade logos to choose from. Consider information like: - where you're located - what products you're selling - what services you provide - who are your customers? Vision & Mission*Let's get to the nitty-gritty of your business. What is the vision you have for this creation of yours, and what is your mission? Think of the VISION as the goals you have for your business. It's the WHY part. The MISSION will be the HOW. How do you plan to make your vision a reality?*Detail the ideas you have for your logo over the next few sections. No detail is too small, and there is no such thing as too much information. This section is CRUCIAL to getting your logo design correct. Without these sections filled out completely, we cannot proceed with your logo design. Keep in mind that for any given custom design, we have an initial design to present with revision rounds built in. If you exceed the number of allotted revisions, we will revert to our hourly rate. The best way to avoid this?! Be thorough with your answers!!!! Got it! Let's roll! Color*Let's start with color. Color impacts the way your brand is perceived. Consider the following: What colors would you prefer in your brand? Are there colors to avoid? Do you have links to specific color palettes that you like and would like us to consider in your designs?Font*What fonts would you prefer? Link us to any fonts you like the look of, or you can reference fonts by number by using our font list here.Graphics*Graphics are anything in your logo that *isn't* text. It's that cool piece of artwork that goes in your logo that sets your brand apart. What ideas do you have for the artwork in your logo? Keep in mind that you do not *need* artwork in your logo, as many recognizable and successful brands use a word mark as a logo. If you don't want graphics in your logo, simply let us know that you don't require them. Additional InfoUse this spot for any amplifying info that was not covered in the fields above. Pinterest BoardWe HIGHLY recommend using Pinterest as a great way to gather up ideas and inspiration for your brand. If you'd like to use a Pinterest board as a way of collecting imagery to provide to us, please ensure your board is SECRET when you invite us to it.
